What are you doing in the university? If you going to use the Computer ALOT (like you doing somehting like, design) you should get a Desktop (i would suggest a mac, they are usually better than PC's)...Laptops are very versatile but its awful to work big things on it....
Otherwise, if you doing "normal" (
) things like Math or Physics, just go with Laptop :]
