[Guide] To Losing belly fat
Well one of my friends asked me how to lose all the belly fat he has and wanted to know how to do it in the quickest way. Well first and foremost, there is no QUICK way to lost belly fat. I can't stress that enough.... Belly fat can only be lost through watching what you eat and exercise!!
First lets talk about the myths... Myth #1: Abdominal and oblique exercises burn fat from the stomach and side abs. So many people believe in this myth and that is why many ab equipment infomercials claim to help you burn fat. This is FALSE, it is true that ab equipment can give you abs but the abs that you make go on top of you belly fat, so you would just look even fatter. So I recommend first losing all the belly fat, or a good percentrage of it. Myth #2: Skipping meals will result in fat loss. Skipping meals usually means a reduction in calorie intake and may result in weight loss, however skipping meals will not result in fat loss. Why? Because skipping meals hinders the body's fat-burning mechanism - the metabolism from working efficiently. You see our metabolisms work best when we are eating small, balanced meals often. This is why bodybuilders usually eat five to six small meals per day. For people with a BMI of 34 or less, a fat belly is regarded as an additional health risk. Fatty tissue which is stored around the stomach and abdomen (sometimes called intra-abdominal, or visceral fat) carries a greater health risk than fat located in the lower body around the butt and thighs. Some health studies show that abdominal fat leads to raised blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, high blood sugar, insulin resistance syndrome (metabolic syndrome X) and heart disease. Because of this, some experts believe that waist circumference and fat-distribution is more important than your actual weight in predicting future health risks. Where we store fat (surplus calories) is largely a combination of gender, age and genetic inheritance. Men tend to store fat around their middle (apple shape), whereas women typically store fat around the pelvic region, hips, butt and thighs (pear shape). However, women are prone to develop an apple shape in mid-life, after menopause. This is because the female hormones are present in smaller amounts and so their shape tends to become more 'male'. How to Prevent a Fat Belly? If you are prone to store fat around your middle, the healthiest solution is to maintain a normal weight. By matching your calorie intake to your calorie needs and prevent weight gain, you will prevent the development of any excess fat. How to Reduce a Fat Stomach? However, if you already have a fat belly, the best option is to follow a healthy weight loss diet, combined with fitness exercises such as aerobics (to burn extra calories) and a stomach-toning workout to help tighten and strengthen abdominal muscles. That said, reducing a fat stomach takes time - especially if you are an apple-shape. Despite what commercials say, there is no diet-plan or type of exercise that can "target" your fat stomach. So please don't get impatient. Your fat belly will disappear, I promise. Ok those are just some facts, now to teh real business! What I believe... Okay the best way to lose belly fat is through a couple of steps... Do you want to do it the fast way, or the slow way! Whatever way you choose, the best kind of exercise to do is the cardiovascular exercise and maintain a steady healthy diet. THE FAST WAY Here are some cardiovascular exercises: Running/Jogging/Sprinting Jump Roping Tae Bo/ Aerobics / or any type of karate Then with this have some strength builging exercsies like: Play outside Sports ( like Tennis, Soccer, Football etc... ) Sports that require running! Every night set a goal to do a certain amoutn of push-ups nad sit-ups, for me it is 100 push-ups and 200 sit-ups, yours may be different! Go to the gym and exercise Food Intake The main problem is that people eat too mcuh food and too fast. Spread out your meals six small meals throughtout the day. Breakfast: pretty heavy, because you'll need energy to exercise the rest of the day Snack: yogurt and a protein shake Lunch: medium, don't eat tooo much Snack: protein shake and a fruit Dinner: LIGHT! don't eat too much, not many people exercise a lot after dinner Snack ( if needed ): something with little or not fat like a protein shake/fruit etc... Some facts! Doing both cardiovascular and strength building exercises together helps lose belly fat faster. Cardiovascular exercises help speed up your heart rate and when your rate is really high, it boosts your metabolism and then with strength building you also lose a lot of weight. Ok, first off I would like to say that there is not fast way for any one, everybody's bodys' react differently to different types of exercises. I personally have a problem with the fat going towards my stomach, and I solved that by doing crunches. You did not mention that. This was quite random but good effort for contributing

You'd be surprised how many folks don't know some of this information. Believe me. I still meet kids and adults that think skipping meals is the best way to lose weight.
The information is factual, based on medical norms (which is what falls sadly short of taking individuals into account) and has a decent over all approach to understanding the subject matter proposed. For that, it's a pretty decent guide. Nice work Tripels!

I believe I read somewhere in this textbook that exercise burns fat uniformly across the body, not focused in the area you are exercising. Meaning, if you run, it will take fat from all places of the body.

Well most people do neopets guides or game guides or something, so I decided to do something odd
Basically this information was info that I found needed for peple with belly fat and may want to try to lose it I am not saying that I am not perfect, I mean using these methods I have lost a great deal of belly fat, and I thought it mite work for you guys too |
