At What time of the year do you see most of your family?

thanksgiving, or new years, because we all go back to my grandma's house, and stay there.
Or maybe funerals, because everybody goes to those.

well, up until two years ago it was during the summer. we would always spend 2 weeks down at the beach together, but now we don't do it anymore because -
1. my grandmother has become weaker, and it's too much stress to have to keep her safe down there
2. the majority of the family comes from California, and we go to the beach in Connecticut, so for the family in California it's too expensive
3. most of the main people who would normally come down (my cousin, my sister, etc..) are too involved with other things, i.e. college, job, bands, etc...

but now i suppose it's just those random times when the family from California comes out we have a small family reunion.

This is mostly on my dad's side of the family, my mom's side we all live in the same town or within a small vicinity, except for my other uncle (mom's brother) who also lives in California and I haven't seen him, or my two other cousins for at least 6 years.

During the summer or over the holidays. During the summer I go to Ohio so I see them then. And during the holidays we always have huge parties.

You know i used to love Christmas for the presents but now i love it to see my family and of course the DINNER <3

well if I was asked this a few months ago, it would have been different, since we hadn't seen the majority of the family (siblings, parents) for about 9-10 years. I liked it that way, we visited some christmases they visited for longer stays.
but since we live fairly close (2.5 hours is the furthest) we see them for major events. Birthdays, etc.
My family we see more often. my sister and her two teenage daughters (well one's technically an adult now) live within 10 minutes of walking.
my mum lives about 30kms up the road so we see her a bit too.
I haven't seen my own aunty and uncles and cousins for many years, I saw some at my wedding. lol. funnily enough, I will see my uncle who I haven't seen in over 10 years tomorrow. lol

4th of July. We like to shoot fireworks and see if they set things on fire. It's quite funny, then again, I never see much of them. :\

Christmas is when I normally see all my family.
There is a lot of family that I see once per year, and that's always on Christmas.

my answer is same as timsty's answer Chinese New Year,we visit a families members house 1 by 1 (if its nearby) then we get "Ang Pows" aka. red packets with money inside $_$ then we eat cookies and talk around,drink booze and stuff u know
