Best Camera?

Ok, so I need a really good camera, either digital or film (I am looking at both) but it has to be under 300 bucks.

Any ideas?

Under 300?! thats tough, are you looking to buy an SLR?

Did you want SLRs?
Autofocus?
Any preference at all?

If you want a simple point and shoot camera I suggest the Canon PowerShot SD870.
It's cheap and not horrible. lol

If you want an SLR I suggest any one of the Canon Rebel series. XT is the one we use in yearbook class and it's so friggin' awesome. xD (can you tell I'm a Canon fan? )

As for film, film cameras are so expensive these days considering most people work with digital.
I suggest Pentax K1000. It's a pretty ghetto camera but it takes great shots.

Prices all vary so I can't tell you they'll be $300. ebay? xD

Also ebay...or buying a camera used. I dont know i dont think thats a very good idea. People can really scam you doin that. A camera could have been taken care of with the utmost care and look like its in mint condition but you dont know how many times the shutters gone, and they're only supposed to last a certain amount of shots. So pretty much yeh you could get a camera with like 9000 pictures taken on it but not know..:/

^well, a lot of stores don't carry film cameras anymore so buying a new film camera is like trying to buy a new vinyl record. (okay maybe not exactly but it's hard nonetheless)
she might have to go into like old antique store or something.
so unless she wants to get a shitty disposable camera, I think ebay should suffice?
idk, I know ebay can't be totally trusted but a camera is a camera. And obviously you should ask the seller about it no? Like if it doesn't work, the seller will say that no?

And digital cameras are pretty durable these days, i'm pretty sure they don't only last 9000 shots. o.O
