Am I a loser or are my friends just jerks?

Im really hurt and torn with this situation. Heres the story:

I have about 5 “friends” that I hang around at school. I am really good friends with one of the kiddos. Last year in the beginning we were all friends and all but towards the middle of the year I started to get made fun of and they would always make me feel horrible. Then the one really good friend started to repeatively beat me up and me being me I thought I was doing something wrong. So I got depressed over this whole ordeal and I didn’t talk to anyone, I didn’t eat, and whenever I went on the bus I would get jumped. One day I was really fed up with it and I went home crying. One day I just talked to the kids and told them to stop or I will fight back. They didn’t do anything to me for the rest of the year. So this year we were all friends again but I think they hate me. They don’t talk to me, don’t sit with me on the bus, ignore me, sometimes make fun of me, they throw things at me sometimes, they didn’t invite me to go trick or treating, they just… don’t want anything to do with me. I really thought they were my friends but then today I just realized that im just wasting my time trying to get them to like me.
I never did anything to them. I actually was really nice to them. I sometimes even did their homework for them. I usually hung out with one of the kids but it seems like he doesn’t want me to go over to his house anymore. About the Halloween, I was really looking forward to go trick or treating [yeah I love it! XD] but I wasn’t invited to do anything and that really makes me feel like a loser. :[

Do you think im just a tool? What do you think I should do? I really don’t feel like getting all depressed over this and I think DZ could really help. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I think you need to stick up for yourself. If they do something that offends you or makes you feel bad, show them you really mean it. Don't try fighting fire with fire. The best way to "beat" an enemy is to be nice to them. Everyone has a good heart one way or another, you just need to find a way around their frozen good hearts to show them who you are, and how you think you should be treated.

Wow, those aren't your friends.
Friends should be cheering you up, not getting you depressed

Your one "good" friend might even be giving into peer pressure (which is totally not your fault!)

I think that one "friend" uses me. Whenever he is extremeley bored and the other "friends" are doing something he calls me and tells me to come over and all he talks about is how much fun he had with the others. :/

I think you should find other people to spend your time with.
Don't dwell on people who aren't good for you. Those people aren't your friends. ):
Be spontaneous and fun with everyone you meet, because that way you will always find a new friend.
You're a great person and I know you'll be able to make friends who deserve to have you in their lives as much as you deserve to have them in yours. <3

That's really bogus.

I felt like that a while back.

I had a group of "friends" that I sat with so I didn't feel like a loser being the only person at lunch sitting by themselves, but the people didn't really like me, and I didn't really like them.

So I found another group of real friends.

I think that's what you should do.

Be more open minded about friends.

And don't rush into friendships. If you be too nice to a person, they might just turn around and get on your last nerve.

Bumple, hon I have to agree with what the others have posted.

FRIENDS do not do these things to their friends. You have tried, but frankly they are completely unworthy of you. You should find people that are worthy of your good heart and good nature.

With friends like you used to have, who needs enemies? (not joking)

You are not at fault here, but please look into finding friends who KNOW what friendship is all about.

I mean, I have tons of other friends but this was the main peoples I hand out with. I may also switch schools so that would be greaatt.

You shouldn't feel that way about yourself.
If you did nothing wrong then it isn't your problem, it's a problem with your "friends".

If they treat you that way, you shouldn't consider them your friends after everything that you did for them.
Just calm down, it won't be the end of the end when those couple of people "don't like you".

You can always make some new friends.
