How do deal with suicide...?

Some people just aren't happy with themself or their surroundings. Sure its stupid to kill yourself but theres obliviously a reason for her doing this.

Uggh, today's such a depressing day. Any tips to cope with something like this would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly enough i had to deal with the same thing 1 week ago ... My uncle hang himself because he had a very hard life. He couldnt pay for rent because he didnt have a job and he couldnt get money to even eat. Its a very sad story but you just have to remember the good times and move on...=/

Really, now the only way you can see her is by your memories, photographs. You have to acknowledge the fact that she was not happy with their life, and that she chose what she thought was right for her at the moment (not that it was the right thing to do). It is good to let it out (with whatever you do like crying, praying) in peace and calm conditions. It is also good to let the subject go and go on with life because you can't let someone else, even extremely close to you, stop you in your life. Try to adapt to life without her and remember her every night. Yeah, it will be emotional until you realize that it is time to move on, and I think your common sense will tell you when the right time to let that go is. My best wishes and prayers to her.

Suri let me start by saying that you and your loved ones will be in my prayers tonight.

My advice to you would be to not stop hoping she will make it through this (unless I missed a post and she did not make it, you said she was in the hospital). Also, you may find yourself becoming angry with the situation at some point (a sort of going from blaming yourself to blaming her- IE " Why didn't she come to me?" or "Why didn't I know something was wrong?"). It may take a while but you have to forgive her for what happened. If she does make it (which I truly hope she does), the best thing you can do is show her that you are there for her.

If she doesn't make it, there is still a lesson to be learned from all this. Just because someone looks happy on the outside doesn't always mean they are truly happy. We should always make that extra step to make sure the people we love know they can call on us if they ever have need. Call someone and ask how their day is going out of the blue. Drop in to see a friend for lunch. Spend 5 extra minutes with your Family at the dinner table instead of before running off to whatever activity you have going on next. You never know how that call might just brighten up someones darkest thoughts and keep them from doing something they will regret (and when the time comes that they confide in you, you can smile and realize your helping keep someone from feeling like they have nothing).

Also, I would suggest talking to other people about it (much like your doing here). The more you get it out and the less you let it sit on you like a big personal weight, the better you will feel about the whole situation. If you stay clammed up about someone you loved dieing, you will inevitably get a sense of undeserved guilt.

Its about time I gave an update, right?
At first, the doctors said she was basically dead.
She didn't move, breathe, etc.

So the parents decided if she dies without life support (the breathing thingy) in 1 hour, its just something they'd have to accept it.

They cut off life support etc, but she started breathing on her own and her heart was beating normally.

Which is GREAT news.

So she's doing so much better.

I'm telling you, you probably don't know how lucky you are! I have lost one of my close friends in an act like that... It will be a year since she parted on november 23rd and I still cry for her from times to times... She was already gone when they found her... Only 3 months before that I lost another one of my friends but he died from a heart attack he was only 19! I still don't know how I survived, well as a matter of fact I didn't... entirely, a part of me died with her
