Where in the world, if you had the chance would you go?

I suppose I should go first I would attend this top 3 places.

I would go to Australia and swim the Great Coral Reef and hike the red dirt outback.

I would go to Italy and take a ride through the canals of Venice.

Lastly I would go to South Africa, I would love to experience a safari in person. Animals roaming free. Itd be magnificent. If I could add more, I would hit up Egypt and China and India. A various amount of places, each for their own reason.

Genuine question...

Compared to couple of my friends who have their own houses with their boyfriends, I pay like no bills.

My dad pays for my phone.
I don't drive.
Mum doesn't make me pay for rent.

All I pay for is my own food & drink.

But then I don't really earn too much... so I'm super lucky.

Retirement: What would you do?

I was reading posts on another forum where some posters were retired and were listing things they liked doing, and it got me thinking, when I'm retired, what the hell do I want to do with all that time?

I would probably do a variety of things since I get bored of doing the same thing for hours. I think I would play with the dog(s), play video games, and sell stuff XD Oh and of course, sleep.

Evolution In Action!

Evolution has always bothered me with people deciding if they want to believe it or not. Evolution isn't a idea it is a fact. No matter what religious people want to believe. For example. I watched this show the other day http://www.youtube.com/show/faithschoolmenace It was about Faith schools in Britain.

In Britain we have around 10 Muslim Faith Schools, which are raising our next generations of Doctors, scientists and Lawyers. However due to the effect that it is a faith school religion has been set into the lessons. I have no problem with religion and I feel for some people it can really be something special and some of it does have its nice ways.

However As you will see when watching this video, Muslims do not believe in evolution. In the video there is a scene of the science teacher and some students. Richard Dawkins the presenter and a well respected scientist asks the science teacher if she is teaching about evolution. She answers yes, because by British Law it is apart of our school systems to be taught and must, but she adds in our religion, we do not believe it.

How can a school which is raising the faces of Scientists and doctors break away something which is so important? Richard is approached by the class, all seeming cocky and laughing as if Richard is the silly one and evolution is a joke. The girl asks " If we come from monkeys, then how are their still monkeys on the earth?" This made me smile at the time because the question was asked with such cockiness. However a simple answer can always be given to a idiot. That answer is, we are apes, we didn't come from a baboon or a chimp but we came from the same ancestor down the line.

Why can't Muslims integrate evolution with their faith like the Christians and Catholics have chosen to do?

Tell me what you think about evolution? I am not a man of science or anything, I am just pained by the slowing of science due to having to think how they may upset a religion with their new break through.

Whether it's your parents, the rigor of schoolwork, friends, etc. how do you, personally, deal with stress?

As for myself, I like to lock myself in my room, get in bed, and imagine myself as the only human being in a perfect world. It's strange, probably, but it helps me think. I really like time alone to reflect. Unfortunately, this also makes me procrastinate. I've also heard about a couple of physical techniques that are intended to help you relax, but I haven't had much use for those recently...

So which one of those in the title are you most of the time?
Which one do you think is the worst?

I'll admit I'm mostly passive-aggressive (like a lot of women! lol). I'm assertive when it comes to certain things, but mostly I keep my mouth shut while having very strong opinions and showing them in other indirect ways. :P

I think aggressiveness is the worst, but passive-aggressive is a close second. I'm sort of a hypocrite, because I'm that way, but like if someone leaves a passive-aggressive note at work (or when I had roommates), I can't freaking stand that and I'll be sure to mention it to them how LAME that is as a means of communication. Unless it's an anonymous passive-aggressive note, in which case, I'll leave a snarky one back.

Like if they leave a note on their precious salad dressing or whatever that says "DON'T USE! I SPIT IN IT!" I'll leave one that says "So did I." hehehe

Also, I thought I'd leave a few examples from passiveaggressivenotes.combelow. Enjoy! :D

And I don't mean things like being afraid of dying or fire or getting cancer or something - those are all perfectly reasonable fears.

What is something you're afraid of or weirded out by that makes pretty much no sense?

For me it's birds. I'm irrationally afraid they're going to peck my ankles or claw out my eyeballs or attack my head. I always think they're plotting...

I'm also really weirded out when really tall people and really short people stand next to each other. It makes me feel all uncomfortable and I don't know why. lol

What did you want to be when you were a little kid, when you grew up?
People change their minds a lot, but what was the first thing ever?
And if you work, what do you actually do now? Are you happy with how things turned out?

I remember I wanted to be a writer in the 3rd grade, and write fictional kids stories. My second and third grade teachers said I wrote terrific, imaginative stories, so of course I thought I was gifted/awesome at it, so that's what I wanted to do when I grew up.

I DID have a pretty wild imagination, but I kinda lost that now, so writing is out of the question. LOL.

I'm just a student right now, but I'm studying Computer Information Systems. To be honest, I'm not that thrilled about how this is turning out career-wise, but I chose this field because, again, I think I'm good at it (or at least I adapt well to it, and it's always changing, which is good in my book), and I figure if I'm successful, I'll be able to have money to travel, which is my real passion.

So how about you?
