[GUIDE] Transferring music from your iPod (Touch and Phone included!) to your PC / MAC!

There are many instances of when you need to transfer music off of your iPod onto your computer, such as when your computer crashes and you lose your memory...or you want those songs that your friend gave you on your iTunes so you can finally sync your iPod. There used to be a way to do this without any sort of program, but when Apple came out with the iPod Touch, that hidden folder that you're supposed to look for in all of the guides, was literally hidden, and you couldn't gain any access to it. If you're stuck with an iPod Touch and in a dilemma as such, then look no further.

There are a host of programs out there on the Internet that provide you with free trials of their premium programs, but most of them will only allow you to transfer a said amount of songs at a time, ranging anywhere from one to one hundred. My personal experience needed me to transfer somewhere along 6,000 or so.

1) Visit http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid/download
2) Download the program for whichever type of computer you own.
3) Open the program.
4) Run the file.
5) Follow the Set-up instructions.
6) Plug in your iPod.
7) Follow this video guide to show you how to move your music file onto your computer.

(Note that some updates have been made to the program, so if you need any help, feel free to contact me or post. It's a very basic program to follow though and you should have no problems.)

DiskAid allows you to transfer an unlimited amount of songs from your iPod / iPod Touch / iPhone for a certain amount of days (7 I think) and then you need to register it.

I do not know if this program will be compatible with the newest generation of iPod Touches being released on the 10th.

Okay so I could have sworn when I first watched this series that when the battle between Sand/Sound and Leaf took place Genma Shiranui had someone throw a kunai at him and he spit out the senbon or whatever it is he always had in his mouth. I just started to re watch the whole series and I noticed he never did this. Am I wrong or did they take it out of the video that I'm watching? I'm watching it on Hulu.

Anybody had some Salt? I mean anyone watch it? :D

honestly, its interesting to hear the music phases everyone is going through.
I'm really into Animal Collective/Panda Bear right now, still kinda into deadmau5, but more into experimental stuff lately.

Here's how you use it! ^^

When you get to the site you should see a place to enter the URL of the video you want to turn into audio. Attachment 13447

Once you press convert it should start downloading. Attachment 13448

Once it says it's complete click the download button. Attachment 13449

After, your ready to download it to itunes! Attachment 13450 When it gives you a choice of what program to open it with, select itunes (if you have an ipod)!

The audio sometimes goes away after awhile (that's what happened to me a few times) and you'll have to re-convert it DX Just a warning, so don't freak out if itunes says it can not locate the file *thumbs up*

what media players do you use? I used VLC player for quite a while but I got bored of it and want to try new things since i'm such a geek :) Here's the link to vlc player download page if somebody doesn't know what it is.
