Using The 'Report Post' Button

Using the 'Report Post' button is needed sometimes. When you see a leecher posting 10 times a minute on different guides and threads by members who just came back after long breaks, he really doesn't even read the first post - or any of the posts for that matter!

Obviously, everyone should know that to use some of the programs, you need level 1 status, level 2 status, etc. Level 1 status is easy - 25 posts. They can do 25 posts in ten minutes - but use the programs for weeks before being banned. In that time they could have been able to give all the programs to some other website/person, which is against the rules and takes all of the great programmers hard work and makes it common knowledge, which we don't want to happen.

What can you report for? Rep abuse is one. Sometimes they +rep people for those guides they never even read. Another is spamming. Spamming the boards to get to use programs ALWAYS leads to bans. So report that person. Another is leeching, which ties in with what I said about spamming.

If you follow these rules, all our programs will be safe and (hopefully) unpatchable . Don't let newbie's leech, always report.

i have a question. Can you just report the post if they are leeching/spamming. Or is this just a suggestion so we can report them later. I see alot of people posting "thanks you" on programs and guides in the same minute. I don't think they can read that fast.

you might see me post 2-4 replies in a minute cuz I read fast and I have like 3 or so windows of zeeburb open

Thats different. Iunno i have a biased point of view i know its not a good thing, but when i look at you at least you posted some transfering thingy helping other people. Its those people that post "Thanks you" (yes the same line) in like 20 posts including game guides. IM sure they didnt read it at all

There is a report post already. When you think someone is breaking the rules just report that post and leave it up to us to decide what to do with them. Even if you are unsure if the matter needs to be reported or not, just go ahead and report it and we will look into it.

thedealer, I think this is good info. Thanks for posting this for us all. It is definitely important for us all to report people we think are not contributing well to the site. I type fast too and can post a lot fast, but I still can't keep up with all of you. This site moves fast sometimes and then other times, 20 minutes can go by without a new post hehe..

Can i see the link for what you can report for. Im trying to see if i can report leechers/spamming for programs
