1: graphics team section.
i want to share tons and tons of crap, but i don't want almost everyone seeing them.
mainly tutorials, and stocks, and renders, and c4ds.
naturally, i would've placed my topics in the level 3 section, but well...xDD
so i thought it would be awesome if we had a place where all of us can train, rate, comment, help, and share secrets.
it would be really fun, and it's easy to do.
(or else...the only point of the gfx team is to let other people into the group, so they can...enjoy the userbar?)
plus it would increase gfx team apps!

2: graphics team voting (sorry!)
the regular staff shouldn't be required to vote. or count.
considering they don't make graphics...idk.
and i know axis is awesome at graphics, and kailey is starting, so maybe they should be on the team/be able to vote xD
but for some applications (not that anyone applies xD) it's not exactly fair.
you know?

3: pm sent folder.
not sure if this can be done...
but like myspace:
where you click the sent folder, and it tells you if the recipient has read the PM, or if they haven't.
"sent" = not read
"read" = read
"replied" = read and replied.

think about these! hope these can be done *pokes number 1*

I guess number one is a good idea, even though people not on the team can be helped by the tuts

Number two, I think that is not going to happen, I think staff has decision

I agree with your first point Ian, but I have read cheesie before saying he doesn't care about GFX at all, so I don't think he would dedicate a section to it. I mean there is only 5 of us gfx team members so it would be pretty quiet...
I also love the mentoring idea. I like sharing any knowledge I have, not that I have much, but I learn each day. And I love DZ. It's home. I know I don't play neo anymore or ataria, but I love this community.

i know cheesie doesn't want it devoted to graphics, but he can't deny it's growing xD

Ian, a GFX subform would be difficult for members like me. I do learn from the tuts and guides you all post out there. While I'm still not quite good enough to start posting my work. I do use them. If those were to go away, I'd just have to start bugging you GFX userbar members directly.

Now wouldn't that be a pain in the posterior??? *evil chuckle*

I do see what you mean though...it is nice having a place for just the GFX team to post without anyone but GFX to input on it. I do understand that. I just wanted you to know that some of us lurk, and learn from you all pretty much on the quiet hon.
