Premium Points

After the introduction of promo points, I had an idea. I thought that the site should have something called "premium points" where do redeem them for premium.

In essence, premium points would work like this:

Each point is bought for $1 and is worth $1. If you want to redeem them, then it works the same way (2 points = one week, 6 points = one month, etc.)

It would be a new currency for the forum, but worth actual money. If it were implemented, trades would be easier and faster, without third party sites or a middleman. Even low level people, like me, could trade for actual money. There would probably be fewer scams and arguments.

People that don't have credit cards can get premium more easily by selling dz gold or game currency for the points.

Best of all, this still supports the site.

The only thing is that someone has to create a program for this and something where you can trade back the points for money.

i think this would actually be a good idea if the only way of obtaining these "points" were through usd...
then there wouldn't be issues dealing with chargeback on paypal etc during trades.

DZ gold is too easy to get and can be obtained by means other than paying USD, i like this idea and it would reduce scamming

I think it should be a good idea if the only of obtaining these Premium Points were to buy them with real money off the site.. and by trading for them.

Unlike dzg, which can be acquired easily through RS Sim.

And then you should be able to redeem your points back for USD...

that way newbies/level 1 can indirectly sell for usd

I'm not for it though. I think things can be done with DZG and USD alone.
This just gives newbies/level 1s an allowance to trade in USD, which is not allowed here.

But one of the main points of this is to allow newbies and level 1's to trade. It's much safer than involving a third party site. Suppose I were to buy a neopet account from you for $5 and I pay you 5 premium points. There's a site record and there can't be an argument over whether I paid or not, because it was recorded.

maybe implement the points system, but still newbies/level 1 can't trade for them?
its better than 3rd party.
