I think it would just make more spam, more competing (more drama), and it wouldn't really be able to be moderated because the moderators have lives too, they don't want to look through all those posts.
Good suggestion though.

I think this is a unnecessary , too-much work, and tension-causing idea.

I think that this would cause unneccessary spam, like ryan said would put too much more work on the mods, and would also create more drama and more unlikely competitiveness.

As for the premium , I remember there being premium faeries around, so you never know when someone might surprise prem you. Just try to be sincerely active and helpful and maybe you might get surprises premed. Also contests like SOTM offer premium as a prize!
