How to add a playlist.

Finally, I get to teach a whole lesson, all by my self!
I'm going to teach something relevant, something modern.
The Internet!



Alright class today I'll be teach you have you can add
a playlist to your gaia profile.

Alright the supplies you'll need for this class are...

• http://imeem.com/
• a valid e-mail
• gaiaprofile 2.0
• tektek.org (for a layout)

• glass or bottle of water

Alright Let go to www.imeem.com first
You'll need to join in order to make a playlist.
You also have the chose to upload your own music but
that will be for a later tut.

Afte you have signed up you'll be sent an e-mail just fellow it
what the e-mail says.

Now once you've logged in to imeem you'll be looking at the home page.
Now look at the upper right hand side of the page you'll see search
type the song you want it in.
Now you must be asking yourself what with the everything thing?!?
You are able to change it to music it's just a drop down menu.

Well be using Slam by Pendulum

Now look for add to a playlist right when you click it
you have the choice to add it to playlist you've already made
or in this case it since your new it will have you create one
right there. Nice isn't it :3

Now you should know what to do with those two above.
I would hope
Alright the main reason it would like a description is because other
users will be able to view your playlist and it gives them
detail of what you like about it or whatever you really
don't have to put a description down.

Alright you've just created your playlist and added the song.
(note: you can't add the same song more than once.)

Now just go pick the songs you want to add.
Here is teh thing is some songs will be 30 second clips
because the owner of the song.

extra: So you want the full song for you and others to listen
to right?
Just upload the song it's easy as pie
just to avoid getting your song turned into a 30second clip
Just change the one of the fellowing.

1. The artist
2.The title (just by switching some letters)
3. The ablum
What I do is I don't add the ablum


Now that we've got that all covered up for you and your
playlist is ready and made now we just need the code.

We'll be using the embed in blog etc.

(Note:What's in that code wrap is my playlist code so you won't see it in yours. You'll see http://media.imeem.com/pl/*your code*)

Now your given the options to have it on auto play and auto
shuffle so the code will be different.
The code you see you see 7 lines above is set on auto play.
Lets just move on shall we.

Now lets go to edit you gaia profile.
Like I said earlier is you'll need to be using
Gaia Profile 2.0 which is preset when you've joined gaia
if you are still using the old profile sytem V1 please switch.

I will not guide you threw on how but just go to account
it's on there just look for it.

Alright now since we've got that switch out of the way.
now you may go to profile.
click edit your profile.
Now if you already have your multi-media box out just
click edit it on that and just post the code
in there and then click the save button then view profile.

There we have it a playlist in your profile.
Now lets say you want to update your playlist!
Any song you add to it your playlist is auto updated
it doesn't matter if it's being used at gaia or even myspace.

Now if you want a layout just go to tektek.org.
