well my parents a great with a pc they learn from me and my brow... but I have my on pc so it is not a problem and they have one each soo

Well.. a quite good way would be to rar/zip your compromising files (if you want with a password), then rename the file from xyz.rar to cache.tmp (or whatever you like ). ´
[if you don't see the file extensions in windows explorer go to control panel>View>Folder Options and check that theres no mark at "Hide extensions for known file types".
You can view this option in the picture from supersours first post (right below the hidden files):

Now - because a cache file on your desktop is suspicious - just stuff it somewhere into C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data or whatever.

Noone is going to find that. And if someone does they would think its a cache file..
At least it will definitively work on your average parents, sis, bro, grandma, dog..

But this is cool, I usually just put files into my "music" folder, my dad never looks there.

then just to hide your files by supersour method won't be a good idea.

my method has one problem:
in your start menu (by default) you have the files you accessed latest also in a folder called "Recent" somewhere in "Documents and Settings". If you access the passwort protected "cache"-files it would appear there - which could bevery suspicious to your dad.
so you should delete the entry when your done with accessing these files. and password encrypt them!
