[Guide] Make your MSN Uber-Cool with Msn Plus

Msn Messenger/Window Live Messenger have been a common IM used by most people to communicated in their daily life.

Are you ONE of them and are you BORED of the current features that this program only provides?

Here is one of the guide to help you to spice up your MSN.

Uber-Cool Feature that you will see after implementing this guide:

1. Transparency

- Ever see the cool transparency (Aero) in Vista?
Well why not have it in your MSN. The screenshot below can see the background of Dz browser that I'm using.
This is only around 90-95% Transparency.
You can set up to maximum of 100% Transparency




2. Tabbed Chats

- I assume you have used Firefox or the latest IE7 and you know what is a tabbed web browser.
So why not make the same out of the conversation in MSN?

With this Msn Plus, you can have all your chat windows grouped into one single tabbed chat.
There's different positions, different options that you'll able to customize.

Using the same screenshot above, it also demonstrate the tabbed chats in action.
There's 3 chat conversation combined into one window.

3. Account Polygamy

- Have more than 1 account to login to MSN?
Well with the option in the preference of MSN Plus, you can do this by opening more than once MSN at a time.

The screenshot below shows that I'm able to open more than 1 msn at a time.
Therefore you can login as many account as you want at a time.

4. Removing Ads

- Don't you hate it when you use any products that constantly giving ads to you?
Well now you can remove all the advertisement or any unwanted logo in your MSN.

You are freely to customize every single thing depending on your usage.
You can even remove the Window Live Logo

5. HTML Chat Logging

- With Messenger Plus, you can keep logs of all your conversations in a much more flexible way than Messenger can. Actually, Plus! let you do that for years before Microsoft added it as a standard, far from perfect, feature.

I'm not going to discuss every single features available but this is some others that you might look into it:

I've been using this for 4-6 years since version 2 i think.

Btw what'd you mean by themes?
This also supports add-on script.

My Half Life 2 them changes all the windows and starting thing for it
Its just a load of skins

Yeah... There's plenty of other stuff to get from that site but the only thing i like is the Msn Plus...
I'll add on this guide when i got time to try other stuff~

I would like to see how I can change the sounds on msn
Like when you get a message or email

Because my sounds are very loud compared to everyhitng else and very annoying

You can do that with the original Msn alone.
Go to Options>Alert and Sounds>
Then look at the Windows Live Messenger events.
You can browse to any sound you like to play on any event you specify.
