Start a site like Wikipedia or Internet Movie Data base. Or if your doing something step by step and you had a difficult time with it you could post how-to guides (could be as simple as posting recipes or could be as difficult as you can imagine).

I would probably set it out like this if I were you

Introduction- In my community I can think of a few ways in which I could use the internet to improve my comunity ect ect

Paragraph 1- Create a website geared to crime in my community and exposing criminals allowing people from my community to post information on crime in the area ect ect

Paragraph 2- Create a charity which would help unfortunates in your community where people can donate money and get information on how the poor in your area are doing ect ect

Paragraph 3- make a site similar to wikipedia to generally help out the world by making information easily accessable and in a knock on effect this would help your comunity ect ect.

(any more idea's you want to add)

Conclusion- evaluate all your ideas, say which you think is the most useful and which would be the most practical
