You should compare between their beliefs, how karma is used in supporting the religion, basic history of how it came about, how does one practice this religion on a day-to-day basis, etc...

It would be pretty hard for Taoism since it can be argued that it's not exactly a religion.. It's a very abstract concept, Taoism.

You can compare daily practices in each religion, specifics in the religion such as number of Gods/God or Prophets, the concept behind the religion itself or the main belief. I'm not too sure about Buddhism and Taoism but for Islam, it is about the Oneness of God (meaning only one God duh...) but there are 1000s of Prophets, although only 25 are mentioned in their Holy Book (Koran). Muslims have a lot of practices such as daily prayers and fasting one month of every year. I think wiki is pretty accurate if you want a detailed account of each religion.
