Although the administrators and moderators of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED] will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED], nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED] reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
That was the general vBulletin forum rules, now for the exclusive DarkZtar rules!
Read these carefully, and please, if you're affiliated with neopets or you tend to spy on us for neopets, please leave.
If you refuse to leave and proceed the sign up you here by agree that you cannot give any information to neopets, that you'll never mention darkztar to anyone affiliated with neopets. If you do any of these things anyway after you signed up you will pay each member $50,000 USD to cover the damages done to their privacy, and you will pay $100,000 to the website to cover damages done by you, if you do not agree then please leave the site immediately and never come back!
That was an extra note to make it clear that we do not want any neopets affiliates or spies on darkztar! - Now read the rest so you know how we want our members to act while on the forum!
General Behavior
- Do not make an inappropriate username
- Do not use an inappropriate avatar
- Do not use an inappropriate user title
- Do not link to anything malicious
- Do not advertise other sites
- You're only allowed to have 1 account
- If you have been banned, then you're not allowed to create a new account
- You may not share your account with anyone, if they want to be on ZB, they can create their own account
- You may not share your premium with anyone, if they want to be premium, they can subscribe themselves
- If you see anything that is inappropriate please report it to the moderators, by clicking the
button - PM'ing me and asking why you havn't been upgraded to Level 1, when you have 25 non-spam posts and been a member for a day, will cause in a 1 week ban and a 50% post clean out!
- PM'ing anyone asking for the password to the naughty section, will result in a 1 week ban!
- Images in signatures can not exceed 600x400 pixels in size.
Posting
- Please use proper english, no chatspeak!
- You're allowed to post every 30 seconds
- Don't spam
- Don't post multiple posts right after each other in the same thread
- Don't post useless stuff
- Don't post anything malicious
- Don't flame others
- Don't make your posts super long unless you have to
- Don't make a post only containing smilies
- Don't make threads with malicious content, or threads discussing malicious content, such af cookie grabbers, password stealers and/or keyloggers
- Don't create new threads in the Level (1/2/3)- or the Free Program Discussion forums, the only threads that are supposed to be in there are for the actual programs in the download section!
- Spamming and multiple posting is allowed ONLY in the S.P.A.M section!
Gravedigging
- Threads which have not been posted in for one week, may not be resurrected. It is suggested that you start a new thread if you wish to ask a question which has already been asked or continue an already created topic. To avoid confusion, you may also want to include a link to the old thread in the new one. (Thanks to Freaky for these wise words!)
- Gravedigging will cause a warning at first and after multiple times an infraction and/or ban
- Gravedig posts will be deleted
- Gravedigging is allowed in threads that has been stickied!
- Admins/S.Mods/Mods may gravedig if they want to
Guides- You are only allowed to post guides if you created them yourself or the original creator gave you permission to do it
- Do not post a guide that has already been posted multiple times
- Do not post a small guide on 3 lines, make it organized, easy to read and understandable
Trading
- Only trade with people you trust
- Don't trade if you don't feel it's a fair trade
- Don't trade for real money unless you're 100% sure the other person wont scam you
- NO MEMBERS MAY SELL COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
- Selling a non copyright item/material are allowed for members with a rank of Level 2 and above!
- Only members with rank of Level 2 and above may sell for real money
- You may not sell NeoPoints regardless of your rank (NeoPoints is a property of Neopets, Inc. and we therefor do not have the rights to sell them)
- It is always a good thing to check their trade rating
- Remember to leave feedback when trading
- You're not allowed to ask for loans unless you're level 2 or above
- You're not allowed to -trade rep if its your own fault you got frozen/banned for whatever you traded, this is a cheating forum and it has consequences.
Videos
- Showing videos containing any ADULT ONLY material will cause in a 50 points infraction that will never be reversed!
- Showing videos containing any illegal material will cause in a 100 points infraction (BAN!) and will be reported to the police!
- Advertising other sites through videos will not be tolerated!
Music- Posting music containing any illegal material will cause in a 100 points infraction (BAN!) and will be reported to the police!

Leeching & Inactivity- Making 25 quick non-spam posts + waiting a day, then download all our programs and never comming back, is something we don't want! This is called leeching!
- If it has been proven that the only reason you're on DZ is to get programs, you will be banned for leeching.
- If you haven't been active for 30 days your account will be moved to an inactivity group, if you then wish to get your original status back, then feel free to PM any Admin or Zupa Mod
- If you're going on a long vacation, or something else is making it very hard for you to go online, please make a small notice in the S.P.A.M section, then you wont be banned
The Arcade
- Cheating wont be tolerated! You will be banned for a 3 day period if you're caught cheating, if you do it again it will be a perm ban!
- If the staff feels it is right, you may be IP banned from the arcade, DO NOT COMPLAIN!
- Unregistered members can play but not save their scores, all other kind of members, admins aswell as newbies, must have at least 5 posts per day before they can play - So dont just join to play, be active aswell!
- Newbies can play 10 times every day
- Level 1's can play 50 times everyday
- Level 2's can play 100 times everyday
- Level 3's/Staff can play an unlimited amount of times everyday, and they can also create tournaments!
- If you sign up for a tournament you have to be active in it, otherwise you're going to be deleted from it!
Requests- You're not allowed to make multiple request threads for the same gfx/program/source... just one thread per request.
- If you got more requests at the same time in the same section, PLEASE put them all into one thread.
- You have to +rep the person that makes the gfx/program/source you chose to use.
Programs- You're not allowed to sell programs, all programs goes into download section.
- All programs submitted to the "Level" groups, must have DarkZtar auth, if they don't they'll be moved to free programs.
- Do not make threads in the program dicussion forums unless you're submitting a program.
- Do not submit name tagged programs, like "Xxxxxx's Avatar Grabber", unless you're the original creator, freeware programs with an official name may be submitted to the Free Programs section.
- Account Crackers are BANNED from the site!
Invitations
- You cant invite banned members
- Inviting a banned member will get both of you banned
- You may not send an invite to any neopets affiliate
- Invitation system should not be used to spam
We here at darkstar won't take any responsibility for anything that might happend to your Neopets, Inc. account/items/pets/neopoints and/or loss of real money!
By surfing the darkztar.com website, and/or accessing any material found on darkztar.com, you agree:
- that you take full responsibility for your actions
- that you will not access the site if you're affiliated in anyway with the Neopets, Inc. website
- that you fully understand that darkztar.com is not affiliated with the Neopets, Inc. website
- that giving information about darkztar.com to Neopets, Inc. is not allowed
- that when downloading and executing software from this site, you take full responsibility for whatever you do with it
