Translations SPANISH PORTUGUESE What is the difference between a Thanks and a Rep A thanks should be given whenever a post was somewhat helpful, well organized or informing.Example: Making a thread in the media section about the newest movie (trailer included) could be a post worthy of being thanked, as it's informing you of a new movie while providing you with the trailer. A Rep should be given whenever a person has helped you solved you problem, made you laugh (HARD!) or in general just made you happy. In other words: A Thanks isn't as serious as a Rep - Abusing any of them will cause an infraction! Do I gain rep points when I receive a thanks?
