General Behavior

• Do not create an inappropriate username.
• Do not use any inappropriate avatars.
• Do not use any inappropriate user titles.
• Do not link to anything malicious.
• Do not advertise other sites (try to avoid using abbreviations!).
• You're only allowed to have 1 account.
• If you have been banned, then you're not allowed to create a new account.
• You may not share your account with anyone, if they want to be on DZ, they can create their own account.
• You may not share your premium with anyone else, if they want to be premium, they can subscribe themselves.
• If you see anything that is considered inappropriate please report it to the moderators, by clicking the yellow triangle button on the post in question.
• PM'ing me and asking why you haven't been upgraded to Level 1, when you have 25 non-spam posts and been a member for a day, will cause a 1 week ban and a 50% reduction in your post count!
• PM'ing anyone asking for the password to the naughty section, will result in a 1 week ban!
• Images in signatures can not exceed 600x400 pixels in size, *nor can they contain youtube or other videos*
• You are not allowed to accuse anyone of scamming you unless you have proof. Sorry, but please understand without proof, we have no way of proving who was right and who was wrong. Please make sure you obtain all proof during the trade or sale and retain it afterwards.
• If you request a ban then you cant come back, no matter what anyone tells you! A request ban is permanent, don't be fooled (not even if a Zupa Mod tells you otherwise!). If you just want to take a break, then DON'T request a ban! Those who request bans are attention seeking *Insert Mean Word Here* and the forum would most likely be a better place without them!
• Talking in a language other than English must be kept to SPAM or the Foreign Corner

Posting

• Please use proper English, no chatspeak!
• Don't post racist insults or insults towards where people were born or live at.
• You're allowed to post every 30 seconds.
• Don't spam!
• Don't post multiple posts right after each other in the same thread! It's called flooding!
• Double posting is 2 or more posts and will get you an infraction.
• Flooding is posting 3 or more posts in SPAM and will get you an infraction.
• Don't post useless stuff. This includes posting +rep and +thanks in guide sections.
• Multiple posting is only allowed in the spam section.
• Don't post anything malicious.
• Don't flame others.
• Don't make your posts super long unless really need to in order to clearly make your point.
• Don't make a post only containing smilies.
• Don't make threads with malicious content, or threads discussing malicious content, such as cookie grabbers, password stealers, fake login pages, and/or keyloggers.
• Don't create new threads in the Level (1/2/3) areas or in the Free Program Discussion forums. The only threads that are supposed to be in there are for the actual programs in the download section!
• You are not allowed to post warez. You are not allowed to link to illegal or copyrighted material (or sites offering illegal material). You are also not allowed to post a request for warez material. So this includes asking for people to get you a certain song, program etc. If you are after warez, basically you need to ask elsewhere for it.
• Don't make threads/post/signatures containing your referral link to another site. If you wish to spam your link, then go somewhere else!
• Backseat Modding is not allowed. Back seat modding is where you post on a thread and tell your peer what they have done wrong. If someone is doing something wrong, report the post and inform a moderator. You are not a moderator and it's not your job to do this.

Gravedigging

• Threads which have not been posted in for one week may not be resurrected. It is suggested that you start a new thread if you wish to ask a question which has already been asked or continue discussion of an already created topic. To avoid confusion, you may also want to include a link to the old thread in the new one. (Thanks to Freaky for these wise words!)
• Gravedigging will cause a warning at first and after multiple times an infraction and/or ban.
• Gravedig posts will be deleted.
• Gravedigging is allowed in threads that have been stickied!
• Gravedigging is allowed in guides/cheats threads and program threads (But comments like "thank you" are not allowed!)
• Admins/S.Mods/Mods may gravedig if they need to.

Guides

• You are only allowed to post guides if you created them yourself or the original creator gave you permission to do it.
• Do not post a guide that has already been posted multiple times.
• Do not post a small guide of only 3 lines, make it organized, easy to read and understandable.

Reputation

• Reputation is serious business on this site. It is given to show that a member has been helpful and is considered a reward.
• You are not allowed to "double" rep; as in give anything above what you are currently allowed to give.
• You are not allowed to give someone rep for no reason. Be clear and concise when giving reputation.
• Make sure you are using the thread where the person helped you and leave clear comments as to what they helped you with. If the reason for the rep is coming from a PM or MSN, then use the comments to state that clearly. While this is allowed, it should not be happening all the time.
• Do not ask for rep!

Trading

• Lower ranking members MUST go first. If both parties have the same rank, then the one with the lower trade rating will go first. If both parties have the same rank and same trade rating, then the one with the lowest post count will go first. Remember you can always use a middleman.
• Only trade with people you trust.
• Don't trade if you don't feel it's a fair trade.
• Don't trade for real money unless you're 100% sure the other person wont scam you.
• Only members with rank of Level 2 and above may sell for real money.
• It is always a good thing to check a members trade rating before doing a trade with them.
• Remember to leave feedback when trading.
• You're not allowed to ask for loans unless you're level 2 or above.
• You cannot sell a trophy or avvie getting service unless you're level 2 or above.
• You're not allowed to -trade rep if its your own fault you got frozen/banned for whatever you traded, this is a cheating forum and it has consequences.
• "Price Check" threads are only allowed in the S.P.A.M section!

DZ Gold

• You're allowed to use DZ Gold to trade with for virtual stuff such as Neopoints, items on various game sites and so on.
• You're not allowed to sell DZ Gold for real money, if you wish to purchase DZ Gold for money, then you can use the Buy DZ Gold Feature.
• You're not allowed to sell/buy reputation for DZ Gold, doing this will be the same as regular reputation abuse!
• You're not allowed to donate DZ Gold to someone and then demanding anything in return!
• You're not allowed to make multiple accounts and then transfer your "start" DZ Gold to your "main" account.
• You will only be credited for referrals when the member you referred becomes Level 1.
• You have to be Level 1 to use the banking system.
• Scamming to get DZ Gold is a considered the same as scamming for Neopoints/Real money and you'll be banned for doing so.
• Any abuse of the DZ Gold system will get you banned
• You're not allowed to make threads asking for DZ Gold (Not even Level 2+ are allowed!).
• You cannot buy Premium/Pay-Per-Day from DarkZtar/CheeSie, but you can trade DZ Gold for a paid subscription if you can find a member that's willing to pay for you!

Videos

• Showing videos containing any ADULT ONLY material will result in a 50 points infraction that will never be reversed!
• Showing videos containing any illegal material will result in a 100 points infraction (BAN!) and will be reported to the police!
• Advertising other sites through videos will not be tolerated!

Music

• Posting music containing any illegal material will result in a 100 points infraction (BAN!) and will be reported to the police!
• Advertising other sites through music will not be tolerated!

Leeching & Inactivity

• Making 25 quick non-spam posts + waiting a day, then downloading all our programs and never coming back is something we don't want! This is called leeching and you will be banned as a result!
• If it has been proven that the only reason you're on DZ is to get programs, you will be banned for leeching.
• If you haven't been active for 30 days your account will be moved to an inactivity group. If you then wish to get your original status back, then go here.

The Arcade

• Cheating wont be tolerated! You will be banned for a 3 day period if you're caught cheating. If you do it again, it will be a perm ban!
• If the staff feels it is right, you may be IP banned from the arcade, DO NOT COMPLAIN!
• Unregistered members can play but not save their scores, all other kinds of members, admins as well as newbies, must have at least 5 posts per day before they can play - So don't just join to play, be active as well!
• Newbies can play 10 times every day.
• Level 1's can play 50 times every day.
• Level 2's can play 100 times every day.
• Level 3's/Staff can play an unlimited amount of times every day, and they can also create tournaments!
• If you sign up for a tournament, you have to be active in it, otherwise you're going to be deleted from it!

Requests

• You're not allowed to make multiple request threads for the same gfx/program/source... just one thread per request.
• If you have more requests at the same time in the same section, PLEASE put them all into one thread.

Programs

• You're not allowed to sell programs, all programs go into download section.
• If a person wants to buy a program specially made for that person, then you're allowed to sell your service as a programmer!
• All programs submitted to the "Level" groups, must have DarkZtar auth, if they don't they'll be moved to free programs.
• Do not make threads in the program discussion forums unless you're submitting a program.
• Do not submit name tagged programs, like "Xxxxxx's Avatar Grabber", unless you're the original creator, freeware programs with an official name may be submitted to the Free Programs section.
• Account Crackers are BANNED from the site!

Zero Tolerance Policy

• We want no attention seeking members, the mods decide if a member is attention seeking! Making "do you hate/love me" boards, making sure everyone knows you're online or making other people hate another member so you stand out to be the good member, are ways of attention seeking that will not be tolerated.
• Making ANY form for evil minded comments on others race/sexuality/beliefs etc. will not be tolerated
• There will be NO discussing of any child pornography related things! No pedo-bear and similar, anyone found breaking this rule will be banned for 3 days!

We here at DarkZtar do not take any responsibility for anything that might happen to your Neopets, Inc. account/items/pets/neopoints and/or loss of real money while using this site!
Please be aware that by using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms, both while a member of the site, and after any subsequent banning, inactivity or resignation.
