The iPhone

The iPhone is pretty cool, but I wouldn't get one. The lack of a physical QWERTY keyboard is the deal breaker for me, and also fingerprints...I'm kinda anal about those; I'm almost always polishing the cover my HP Pavilion, which is very fingerprint-prone.

I also don't like AT&T for a variety of reasons. I already have a Palm PDA and a perfectly good iPod, and I have no need for a all-in-one device.

but you honestly don't see fingerprints.
i personally love the keyboard, but i understand why some don't.

because an iphone isnt a phone, they dont market it as just a phone because its far from that, i think its excelent that they put so much shit into it, it means i dont have to carry around a seperate mp3/dvd player, books, dictionarys, everything, now i go out with my keys card phone and ID, where as before my iphone my pockets were full of shit

The fingerprints don't show up that badly?
One of my friends, who has an iPhone, told me that they can...bet it's about how you look at the iPhone and the angle and such...

what about scratches to the screen? That's another thing that I'm worried about. Do the screen covers do enough to protect the screen, but don't take away too much from the screen quality/visibility?

I'd be willing to give up a physical QWERTY keyboard...I've read that sometimes it's hard to type on the iPhone's screen at times with your fingers. (I'm not one of those "fat finger" people either, my hands are quite skinny...) so I don't really know...

the only time fingerprints show up is in the sun.
but it just makes the screen a little blurry.
the light is so bright that fingerprints can't show up xD

i've had my phone for about a six months, with no scratches at all.
i've dropped it alot too. it's incredibly durable.
and again, the light is so bright, that even if it gets scratched a little, you wont know.

sometimes it's annoying, because it's always suggesting words for me.
but you just get used to pushing the "x".
i'm used to it now.
typing in website addresses is the easiest, because you can type in landscape-mode.

anyways, good phone, i've had mine since november, so longer than ian, cause i'm cool like that.

i recently did a speed test on the phone w/ some mobile online speed test, with the edge internet, i was able to "process" 1mb filesize in about 2 seconds, and like 5kb in under .05 seconds.

My best friend has one and she'd rather have a rumor tooo .
