Laptop or PC

Labtop is definately better. You will have more privacy from your roommate and will be able to work anywhere comfortably such as your bed. The only problem is that PC's contain more disk space which means your computer runs more quickly.

I wont have a room mate.... We go home after classes.

I'll be attending a BsC IT course in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Basically, I'll be programming, if that helps anyhow in the decision.

Laptop-

Pros:
-small; takes up less space
-lightweight
-easy to take anywhere you go

Cons:
-small screen
-small keyboard
-has been said to cause back pains and neck pains
-not a lot of memory

PC-

Pros:
-a lot of memory
-good for gaming, writing reports, etc.
-faster than a laptop
-good colors on the screen
-better sound

Cons:
-big and heavy
-takes up more space than a laptop
-can't easily transport from place to place

uhhm i cant really think of any more, but if i were you, i would get a PC.

laptop it would much more easier to do your stuff like homwork schedules or even put games there if you are bored in class xD

If you are not taking a computer to classes I suggest get a PC.
PC is better as I find them more stable and sturdy than lap tops.
Plus personally, I hate the feel of it.
feels very cramped.

With PC you will probably get a decent spec'd system that you can use to play games and put programs into.

And the main thing I like about PCs is that you can build one yourself.
Plus its way cheaper and easier to replace/upgrade a part of a PC than a laptop.

That's my opinion anyway.

In my experience, laptops are usually slow, but decent for reading and typing online. PCs are faster, but right now I'm relating it to Neo. xD
