Should I Downgrade To XP?

It's been a culture for MS to release product to the user to do testing for them instead of hiring a testing team and fix all the bug then release to the public. That's the reason of service pack. XP is only stable after SP2(currently have SP3) which means b4 SP2, there's a lot of bug and error also. Right now Vista have SP1, and it'll be fixed as time goes by.
Even the early release of XP also the same, people are criticizing it but what can u see now... People adapt to it and accept it as a main OS.
Vista does have it's advantage over XP in certain ways... why not adapt and use the newest product available? Or as mentioned to play safe, you can always dual boot. keeping both XP and Vista in a pc/laptop

i would recommend downgrading to xp, but you must have a good collection of drivers for your system to run on xp on a cd, or on a usb drive, because some things wont work like audio, your screen resolution might be messed up and you could end up being stuck without internet.

so if you want to downgrade just have some drivers handy.

My opinion is to toy with the details of vista. You can make it look and run fairly close to XP by changing the visual settings to the lowest.

Vista is going to run like CRAP if you let the widgets run. GET RID OF THOSE FIRST! Who needs to spend 20% of your CPU to tell you how much of your CPU you're using?

Oh, and the reason it looks slow is because Vista's Operating Software takes bare minimum of 512Mb of ram, so there goes 1/4 of your power right there. *rolls eyes* It's like driving a Geo Metro and turning on the A/C, it's just a bad idea.

Just stick with Vista, you just need to toy with it to speed it up is all.

Oh and just so you know, any computer is obsolete by the time the box is opened o.~

If u want a fast computer i suggest downgrading but if u like vista stay with it my best suggestions. XP works much faster then vista in my eyes. But with the future I am sure vista will pick up and be less hated when the next os comes out. but for now stay with vista. XP will mess alot of stuff up for now.

your computer just came with vista pre-installed?

yes, come with the drivers cd.
but they only work on vista. D:
