Should I Downgrade To XP?

Well the title speaks for itself...

I bought a HP computer just about a year ago and now I'm thinking of downgrading to XP Professional because Vista just ain't cutting it. Though I'm worry about the driver issues. Can anyone tell me if I will have driver issues if I downgraded?

if you do downgrade, you WILL have driver issues.

to prevent a catastrophe.. find out if you can download all of the ones you will need or if you can save them / back them up on something else

I really think you should definetly downgrade to Xp, vista is just the
biggest shit when talking about OS, I don't think you will get problems,
actually vista sucks cause it reduces your computer Ram memory, and when talking about
disponibility... well, it will be hard for you to install even some stuff using vista, so I
hardly suggest downgrading

Yes, as I stated in another thread 2 of my friends have already downgraded. There are so many issues with Vista, its garbage.

As much as I hate Vista as well and how much it really sucks, I don't think it will be worth downgrading for a long run. Especially that all computer companies and purchasing computers will only have Vista. This means that people in the future will all have Vista and programs will be made especially for it. But this is completely up to you. I wouldn't do it mainly because everywhere will be Vista-compatible soon enough. Downgrading wouldn't do much for me. Good luck deciding though.

well, but if vista starts getting just like you are saying and he changed to xp, he can always go back to vista I guess

Vista was such a FLOP...

IMO, i don't think it'll stick around

you can still purchase comps with XP... vista hasn't exactly taken over yet

go for the switch if you're prepared to deal with all the drivers, if not, upgrade your memory

lol even with dual core and 2 gigs of ram I find it kind of slow...

and yes I can upgrade back to vista anytime I want since the serial code is stuck on my tower lol.
