I have never heard of verizon.
But T-mobile does have some good deals like the 5 day pass
- top up £5 and get free calls and text for 5 days.

I like verizon which is what i have now, because you get free calls and text to all people with verizon. The only reason i could see you using tmobile is if you need it for international calling.

Verizon and T-Mobile are very different networks and each use different connection methods (CDMA and GSM).
Use Verizon if... You want excellent coverage and great web-access speeds and you don't mind shit phones.
Use T-Mobile if... You want to use literally any phone (SIMs baby), want cheaper rates, and don't mind less coverage/internet access speeds.

Right now I'm on an iPhone 2G (the silver back original one) with T-Mobile paying for unlimited Texting, and $5.99 unlimited data (Tzones). Freaking magical.

Well I used to have T-mobile before I switched to my new iPhone 3G, and I think that it's decently priced. $15 for unlimited text is pretty nice. Same with like $6 Internet. The only downside is that you get less bars, but it doesn't seem to affect your calls or text messages, etc. But sometimes you don't get ANY bars (which sucks). Like for example, I didn't get any bars in my living room .
