He also works out 2 times a day . And has an event, maybe 2 a day ontop of it. It'll feel like he hasn't had any food all day.

Lord knows I could if I had to!
Darn Chocolate Chip cookies get me every time.
My work out alows me to eat about the normal amount of calories.
I dont enjoy working out just to burn calories, I wish I did :/

I guess it's different for a girl. I enjoy working out for two reasons.

Getting stronger, faster, better etc etc.
Burning those calories so I can have that cake at home.

I heard it was closer to 12k on ESPN..

but he's in the pool for 4+ hours a day.. so he NEEDS those calories.

He can afford to eat that much because he doesn't just sit in front of the computer or couch throughout the day.
He needs that much because he burns so much calories on his training.
although I agree that 10000 cal is a bit too much..6-8k is more believable heh.
